This is a two bedroom, one bath apartment with room for up to 5 adults. It is located on the third floor of an old building (with elevator) that is recently restored.
The apartment layout consists of a master bedroom with a double bed and built-in closet, a second bedroom with a single bed and built-in closet, a living room with a double sofa-bed (and dining table for six), an independent and fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom.
It is an ideal apartment to enjoy the purest essence of Madrid, while only being one step away from the Huertas area.

This apartment is located on Calle Ave María 18, in the Lavapiés district. It is right next to the Antón Martín subway station and within a few minutes walking distance from Atocha Train Station, which guarantees easy access to the airport and the rest of Spain.
Lavapiés is one of the most authentic neighborhoods of the capital and also the fullest of life. It is a multicultural district characterized by genuine tapas bars that are left out of tourist tours. There is much cultural activity in this neighborhood, ranging from alternative theatre stages to art galleries and different spectacles.
This area is also very close to the most typical attractions of Madrid such as the Plaza Mayor, Santa Ana Square, Puerta del Sol, the museums (Reina Sofía, Prado, Thyssen and Caixa Forum) and the rastro flea market. From here you can easily reach it all by foot.

An initial 20% non-refundable deposit is required to complete your booking. The outstanding balance and a 40 EURO cleaning fee are due on arrival in cash. The establishment will also ask for a refundable 200 EURO security deposit. This amount will be returned upon check-out after assessing the apartment.
Remember that after arriving to Madrid and before heading to the apartment, you must call to confirm your check in time. The number to call will be provided in the reservation confirmation email.
