The Plaza Mayor-Oriente apartment is a comfortable and sunny studio apartment in the centre of Madrid's historic district (next to Palacio de Oriente). It is located in a recently rebuilt building (with elevator). This small studio has a folding bed and a double pullout sofa bed, both easily opened. The apartment is prepared for 4 adults. The fully-equipped kitchenette is integrated with the apartment and is found at the apartment entrance. The bathroom has a unique deco design and a built-in hydromassage shower. A large balcony in the living room brings in plenty of light to this small but cozy and modern apartment.
This small studio is located on Calle Calderon de la Barca 4. As opposed to the surrounding area, this is a very quiet and calm street and is located in the very center of Madrid's historic district. The property is right between two main Madrid landmarks (Plaza Mayor and Palacio de Oriente) and next to some of the most important tourist sites: the Opera House, Puerta del Sol, Palacio de Oriente, Calle Arenal... The neighborhood has a variety of services (such as pharmacies, supermarkets, banks...) and a large number of traditional Spanish bars and restaurants. This is also very lively shopping area with stores open all year long. Overall it is a very good location for tourism and has excellent access to public transport (Ópera subway is 5 minute walk away).

An initial 15% non-refundable deposit is required to complete your booking. The outstanding balance and a 40 EURO cleaning fee are due on arrival in cash. The establishment will also ask for a refundable 200 EURO security deposit. This amount will be returned upon check-out after assessing the apartment.
Remember that after arriving to Madrid and before heading to the apartment, you must call to confirm your check in time. The number to call will be provided in the reservation confirmation email.
