The location is fantastic, the layout of the apartment very well designed and easy to use. Everything worked very well for me, the only thing I missed was a teatowel for the kitchen. I found the mattress far too soft, but that is always a personal preference. I look forward to coming back very soon!

The apartament is very nice and very well equipped. The location is exellent, in the centre of the city. We didn't need to use the metro! Just a thing, it is not right for tall people: doors and ceiling (where is the loft), are a bit short!

My wife and I stayed here June 1-4 for our first visit to Madrid. Excellent choice. Perfect location for walking to see the city. Clean, near restaurants and stores, compact but spacious enough for two. Word of caution, clear height of loft and area under loft is about 5'10" and since my wife and I are both 6' we hit our heads a number of times. However, pluses out weighed this minus.

We loved the location of this apartment on Calle Lope de Vega since it put us within a few minutes walk of all 3 major museums (Prado, Reina Sofia, and the Thyssen) as well as Atocha train station. There was enough space for 2 adults and a teenager and a great wine and cheese store as well as a bakery at the end of the street. We will definitely be back!

The apartment is very well located to see the many sights of Madrid and easy to access from the airport, (Metro system is very good and easy to use), and has all of the amenities that you would expect for a short city break, although we could not get the coffee maker to work, perhaps it was us or maybe it is broken, I don't know for sure! The reception received on our arrival was very good and all matters explained in detail to help us have an enjoyable stay, apart from mentioning that there may be some noise from the street when people exit the bar Capacho en Directo located in Calle de Las Huertas by the back entrance (brown door with a hand written notice on saying "please keep this door closed"), but at all other times it is a very quiet area. There are many good small supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants, coffee bars and cerveceria, tapas bars local to the apartment which meant that there was no real need to use the kitchen equipment that is available. It was a very good place to stay and helped us have an enjoyable long weekend in Madrid, and I'm sure that we shall be back some day soon.

Very nice apartment I recommend to everyone. Comfortable and quiet location, close to the museums and interesting places in Madrid like Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor and Palacio Real. If you like to spend your holiday pleasantly that is the right choice.

The apartment was in a great location. We were within walking distance from all major sites and did not have to use public transportation. It was very clean and made good use of the small space. There was a reliable internet connection, which was nice. The kitchen, while adequately stocked, was quite small and only had one stove top burner and no oven so you couldn't really cook in it. There was also a problem with the hot water (it never got hotter than lukewarm). We were only there for 2 nights, so we did let the check-in person know for future renters.

Our apartment on Calle Lope de Vega helped make our stay in Madrid very comfortable and convenient. Great location! 10 minute walk from the Prado or Plaza Mayor via Calle Huertas. The area has a nice neighborhood feel and offers everything that we needed. The apartment is quite modern and new. It offers what we needed to have fresh orange juice and expresso in the morning to help us get going. The HVAC work nicely as it was both warm and cool during our stay. Our contact for the apartment offered a helpful orientation upon our arrival covering the area, how everything worked in the apartment, and recommendation for some great tapas nearby. We stayed in Madrid 5 days, so the washing machine came in handy. The bedroom is in a loft, but makes for some low ceiling. That takes some getting used to but it also provides more floor space. I'm quite tall and I adapted easily - the low ceilings are in places where I was lying down or sitting. On the weekend, the restaurant's next door was a bit noisy but that didn't last long. If you're staying in Madrid for more than a couple nights, I would definitely recommend the apartment for a comfortable stay.

Bueno, para nosotros altos (mi marido mide 197cm) la cama de arriba era demasiado corta. Hicimos un cambio con los niños: ellos fueron a la cama de arriba y nosotros al sofá cama de abajo. La parte de la cocina y el baño era demasiada baja para nosotros. El piso está muy bien equipado con todos los detalles y hay mucho perfeccionismo en el trato!
